Ableton Live

Ableton Live

Music Production Course in Ableton

Learn to produce the music you love using Ableton Live 9 on our interactive and engaging course in small classes on this 36-hour course from our flagship Electronic Music Producer Diploma.

Since its release, Ableton has revolutionized music production, providing users with a creative ‘jamming’ tool to quickly develop and evolve their ideas, and is particularly popular with top-line songwriters, DJs, and electronic music producers. This course is great for beginners, but also suits self-taught users keen to fill in any gaps and learn Ableton properly to raise their game.

Have peace of mind that we are the only Ableton and Apple certified training center in Los Angeles, with a superior roster of instructors, including Ableton certified trainers and Grammy-winners with many years of making music in Ableton under their belts. You will have access to their practical tips and advice in our engaging course, interacting with the class – giving you the advantage over anyone trying to teach themselves with books, online courses, or tutorial videos. If you’re a PC user – don’t worry, Ableton is virtually the same on a Mac and PC.

Every course we run comes with in-depth notes that were put together by one of our expert course developers. Learning how to use technical software should be FUN – not tedious! Check out the side of this page to see some comments from previous learners – so you don’t just have to take our word for it!

Many learners these days like to use their own laptops on our courses, so we have made space in our studios for people who wish to do that and altered the price structure by adding a supplement of $75 for learners who wish to hire a new iMac loaded with all the software required. We have more spaces than we have iMacs, so please ensure you book your iMac if you need one, as the course fee is non-refundable if you turn up with no computer to work on. Controller keyboards, headphones, and audio interfaces are always provided for everyone. All GMP learners worldwide qualify for a 40% EDU discount on Ableton software. Once enrolled, purchase Ableton here then we’ll point you in the right direction to get your discount.

If you miss a session and you’d like to catch it up, or you’d just like to come back and repeat some or all of your course, you can do, free of charge, normally on your first choice cycle as this course usually runs every cycle and most of the time we’re able to squeeze an extra one in. Our door is always open for our former learners.
